IN NORTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA ...SOUTHERN RENVILLE COUNTY...NORTHERN WARD COUNTY AT 815 CDT WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM WITH A TORNADO LOCATED 22 MILES NORTH OF MINOT OR AT THE MINOT AIR BASE. THE TOWNS OF BURLINGTON AND WOLSETH ARE ALSO IN ITS PATH. PERSONS AT THE AIR BASE SHO DSHELTER IN BASEMENTS. THE TORNADO WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST 20 MPH. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE.
