FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT MDT FOR PEOPLE
IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO

AT 1040 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM ROSWELL TO NEAR DEXTER ALONG U.S. 285.
THIS AREA OF STORMS WAS MOVING NORTH AT 15 MPH AND WILL AFFECT
THE ROSWELL AREA WITH LOCALIZED STREET FLOODING ALONG WITH FREQUENT
LIGHTNING AND HAIL.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
