THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1130 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO

   ...WESTERN AND CENTRAL SAN MIGUEL COUNTY
 
AT 930 PM...AN OBSERVER IN THE COMMUNITY OF TRUJILLO REPORTED
A COUPLE OF FLOODED HOMES AND ROCK DEBRIS SCATTERED ACROSS STATE ROAD
104 NEAR CORAZON HILL. STATE ROAD 104 WAS ALSO REPORTED TO BE UNDER
WATER 15 MILES WEST OF TRUJILLO.

AT 950 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN
CONTINUING ACROSS MUCH OF CENTRAL AND WESTERN SAN MIGUEL
COUNTY. WHILE THE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DIMINISHED IN COVERAGE AND
INTENSITY OVER THE PAST HOUR...ANY ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINS THROUGH
MIDNIGHT WILL AGGRAVATE THE DANGEROUS RUNOFF PROBLEMS.

ADDITIONALLY...AREAS ALONG CABAZON AND TREMENTINA CREEKS MAY HAVE
DANGEROUS FLOWS. BE ALERT FOR RAPID RISES IMMEDIATELY UPSTREAM
FROM CONCHAS RESERVOIR.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.
DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
