000 TTAA00 KPHL 191344 FFWPHL PAC011-191800- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ 945 AM EDT SAT OCT 19 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS EXTENDED THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING UNTIL 200 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN PENNSYLVANIA ...BERKS COUNTY REPORTS OF SMALL STREAMS OVERFLOWING THEIR BANKS...ROADS CLOSED AND SOME EVACUATIONS HAVE BEEN REPORTED. RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF THREE INCHES HAVE FALLEN OVER THE COUNTY SINCE FRIDAY EVENING. FLOODING ALONG THE LARGER RIVERS MAY TAKE PLACE LATER THIS MORNING OR THIS AFTERNOON...THEREFORE A FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM AND IN AN AREA PRONE TO FLOODING...BE ALERT TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
