000 TTAA00 KPHL 191207 FFWPHL PAC011-191405- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ 807 AM EDT SAT OCT 19 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA/MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1005 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN PENNSYLVANIA ...BERKS COUNTY REPORTS OF SMALL STREAMS OVERFLOWING THEIR BANKS AND SOME BASEMENT FLOODING HAS ALSO BEEN REPORTED. RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF THREE INCHES HAVE FALLEN OVER THE COUNTY SINCE FRIDAY EVENING. FLOODING ALONG THE LARGER STREAMS MAY TAKE PLACE LATER THIS MORNING OR THIS AFTERNOON...THEREFORE A FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM AND IN AN AREA PRONE TO FLOODING...BE ALERT TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
