SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  530 PM EDT
FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK
 
   ...WESTERN ORANGE COUNTY
 
A THUNDERSTORM APPROACHING PORT JERVIS FROM THE WEST WILL CONTINUE TO
MOVE JUST SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 84 THROUGH WESTERN ORANGE COUNTY REACHING THE
MIDDLETOWN AREA AROUND 515 PM. THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE EXTREMELY HEAVY
RAINS...GUSTY WINDS AND HAIL.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
