THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS TN HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 415 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WEST TENNESSEE

   ...SHELBY COUNTY
 
AT 112 AM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN
SHIFTING WESTWARD FROM FAYETTE COUNTY INTO SHELBY COUNTY. RAINFALL
OVER SHELBY COUNTY HAS AVERAGED BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES SINCE MIDNIGHT
AND HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 4 AM. THIS WILL CAUSE FLOODING
OF LOW LYING AREAS AND SOME ROADWAYS. BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND IF FLOOD WATERS APPROACH.
