000 TTAA00 KSDF 262341 RRA TORSDF INC123-270015- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LOUISVILLE KY 740 PM EDT (640 PM EST) SUN MAY 26 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM EDT (715 PM EST) FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH INDIANA ...NORTHERN PERRY COUNTY AT 7:40 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 20 MILES NORTH OF TELL CITY INDIANA. THIS POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH AND WILL MOVE INTO ST. CROIX BY 7:50 PM EDT. THE THUNDERSTORM WITH THIS POSSIBLE TORNADO IS 40 MILES WEST OF LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY. THIS IS A DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORM. GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED JUST SOUTH OF JASPER INDIANA AND THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS REPORTS OF FUNNEL CLOUDS. DO NOT USE YOUR CAR TO TRY TO OUTRUN A TORNADO.
