000 TTAA00 KSDF 262332 TORSDF INC025-270015- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LOUISVILLE KY 730 PM EDT SUN MAY 26 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM EDT FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH INDIANA ...WESTERN CRAWFORD COUNTY AT 6:25 PM EST (7:25 PM EDT)...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 4 MILES EAST OF JASPER OR 3 MILE WEST FROM THE CRAWFORD COUNTY LINE. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS 50 MILES WEST OF LOUISVILLE. THIS POSSIBLE TORNADO WILL MOVE INTO WEST FORK IN CRAWFORD COUNTY BY 6:40 PM EST (7:40 PM EDT). THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. THERE HAVE BEEN NUMEROUS FUNNEL CLOUDS WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM AND VERY LARGE HAIL. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT.
