THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ABILENE... SHERMAN...PARIS...DALLAS-FORT WORTH METROPLEX...WACO. THE ATMOSPHERE ACROSS NORTH TEXAS CONTINUES TO BE VERY MOIST AND UNSTABLE. AFTERNOON HEATING COMBINED WITH SURFACE BOUNDARIES FROM PREVIOUS THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALLOW SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP. A FEW OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP MAY REACH SEVERE LIMITS. THE MID LEVEL WINDS REMAIN WEAK...SO THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE SLOW MOVING WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. THE MAIN THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS.
