FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...ZAVALA COUNTY
 
AT 542 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
RAINFALL OVER MOST OF ZAVALA COUNTY. RADAR ESTIMATED 2.5 INCHES OVER THE
LAST 3 HOURS. THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE IN CRYSTAL CITY REPORTED THAT
MANY ROADS WERE FLOODED AND CARS WERE STALLING OUT.
 
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IMMINENT.
MOST FLASH FL:OOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY
TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT TO ESCAPE
