THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  330 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

   ...TRAVIS COUNTY

AT 125 PM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ALONG THE TRAVIS AND WILLIAMSON COUNTY LINE EXTENDING SOUTHEAST TO
NEAR GIDDINGS.  MORE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE TO THE
SOUTH AND WEST OF AUSTIN. MOVEMENT WAS TOWARDS THE NORTHWEST AT 15 MPH.

ROADS THAT REMAINED CLOSED AT 130 PM WERE...SPICEWOOD SPRINGS RD AT FM2222...
BULL CREEK AT LOOP 360 AND LOOP 360 AT FM2222.  ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON WILL CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS FOR LOW WATER
CROSSINGS AND LOW LYING RESIDENTIAL AREAS.

AVOID ALREADY FLOODED AREAS.  TRAVELERS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS FLOODED ROADS.  IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS...LEAVE IT AND MOVE
IMMEDIATELY TO HIGHER GROUND IF YOU CAN DO SO SAFELY.
