000 TTAA00 KCTP 202215 FFWCTP PAC027-210115- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STATE COLLEGE PA 614 PM EDT THU JUN 20 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 915 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...... IN PENNSYLVANIA ...EASTERN CENTRE COUNTY DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT NEARLY 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN FAR EASTERN CENTRE COUNTY SINCE 3 PM. HEAVY RAINFALL FROM THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL ABOUT 7 PM IN FAR EASTERN CENTRE COUNTY WHICH LIKELY WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
