AT 230 PM...DOPPLER RADARS INDICATED THAT STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED OVER SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AROUND 40 MPH AND WILL AFFECT WESTERN LAKE ERIE BY 3 PM. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP TO THE SOUTHWEST OVER NORTHERN INDIANA AND NORTHWEST OHIO AND MOVE EASTWARD. DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL ARE THE MAIN THREAT THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. IF SEVERE WEATHER APPROACHES...GO INDOORS TO THE LOWEST LEVEL.
