IN CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS ...NORTHERN WORCESTER COUNTY IN WEST MASSACHUSETTS ...EASTERN FRANKLIN COUNTY AT 705 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR LEVERETT. THE STORM IS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH. THE STORM WILL MOVE INTO NEW SALEM BY 715 PM...THEN TO PHILLIPSTON AND PETERSHAM BY 730 PM AND TO THE SOUTH OF GARDNER BY 745 PM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
