000 TTAA00 KLSE 070759 SVRLSE WIC103-070845- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI 257 AM CDT WED AUG 7 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LA CROSSE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 345 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN ...RICHLAND COUNTY AT 255 AM...RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERTORMS 35 MILES SOUTHEAST OF LA CROSSE TO 40 MILES SOUTH OF LA CROSSE. THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL AFFECT ROCKBRIDGE AND RICHLAND CENTER BY 315 AM. THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
