000 TTAA00 KLSE 070731 RRA SVRLSE WIC053-063-070745- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI 229 AM CDT WED AUG 7 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LA CROSSE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 245 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN ...EASTERN JACKSON COUNTY...EASTERN LA CROSSE COUNTY A LINE OF SEVERE STORMS EXTENDED FROM BLACK RIVER FALLS TO 5 MILES EAST OF LA CROSSE AND WAS MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH. THESE STORMS WILL AFFECT THE COMMUNITIES OF CITY POINT AND BANGOR BY 240 AM CDT. WINDS OF 60 MPH OR HIGHER CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM ALONG WITH DEADLY LIGHTNING. MOVE INSIDDE A STRONG BUILDING SUCH AS YOUR HOME AND REMAIN THERE UNTIL THE STORM PASSES.
