THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GAYLORD HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 605 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTH CENTRAL LOWER MICHIGAN

   ...OGEMAW COUNTY
 
AT 517 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 20
MILES SOUTH OF WEST BRANCH. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35
MPH AND WILL PASS JUST EAST OF WEST BRANCH BY 535 AM AND THEN MOVE
INTO EASTERN OGEMAW COUNTY BY 550 AM.

THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL. STRONG GUSTY
WINDS CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
