FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE
IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

...ARENAC AND GLADWIN COUNTY

LIGHT RAIN AND RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINS EARLIER TODAY WILL KEEP WATER
LEVELS HIGH ON AREA STREAMS AND RIVERS INTO THE EVENING HOURS.

AUTHORITES IN GLADWIN COUNTY HAVE CLOSED AT LEAST 20 ROADS...INCLUDING
PORTIONS OF M18...DUE TO HIGH WATER AND WASHOUTS. MANY RIVERS AND
STREAMS IN GLADWIN COUNTY ARE OVER THEIR BANKS. IN ARENAC COUNTY...ALL
BRANCHES OF THE PINE RIVER ARE EXPERIENCING SOME FLOODING.
ADDITIONALLY...THE RIFLE RIVER AND AU GRES RIVER IN ARENAC COUNTY ARE
EXPECTED TO OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS TONIGHT.
  
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
