THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GAYLORD HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTH CENTRAL LOWER MICHIGAN

   ...ARENAC COUNTY
 
AT 950 AM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A BAND OF LIGHT TO MODERATE
RAIN FALLING OVER ARENAC COUNTY. THE PRECIPITATION IS MOVING
VERY SLOWLY AND AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN ARE POSSIBLE
THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.

THE MAIN AREAS WHERE FLOODING IS OCCURRING ARE ON THE NORTH
BRANCH OF THE PINE RIVER NEAR WYATT....ON THE MIDDLE BRANCH
OF THE PINE RIVER NEAR WHEELER ROAD AND ALONG THE SOUTH BRANCH OF
THE PINE RIVER ON 7 MILE ROAD.

STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR THE LATEST ON THE FLOODING
SITUATION.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
