FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1015 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN CENTRAL NEW YORK

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS NORTHERN HERKIMER AND NORTHERN HAMILTON COUNTIES...FROM
STILLWATER RESEVOIR TO LONG LAKE AND BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE. DOPPLER RADAR
ESTIMATES THAT AS MUCH AS 5.00 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN BETWEEN 200 AND
500 PM.
 
THIS BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS IS NEARLY STATIONARY AND WILL CONTINUE TO DUMTORRENTIAL RAIN OVER THIS AREA. ANOTHER ONE TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN IS
POSSIBLE BEFORE THE THUNDERSTORMS MOVE OUT OF THE AREA.
