000 TTAA00 KABQ 031957 RRA TORABQ NMC059-032030- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBUQUERQUE NM 157 PM MDT MON JUN 3 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 230 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST NEW MEXICO ...UNION COUNTY AT 156 PM RADAR INDICATED A TORNADO 12 MILES WEST SOUTHWEST OF CLAYTON NEAR ROUTE 56. MOVEMENT WAS SOUTH AT 20 MPH. THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID WINDOWS.
