THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW YORK HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  545 PM EDT
FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST CONNECTICUT
 
   ...SOUTHERN NEW LONDON COUNTY
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS
 
 
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH REPORTS OF UP TO BASEBALL SIZED HAIL WAS
MOVING ACROSS THE NORTHERN SECTION OF NEW LONDON COUNTY. IT WILL BE
MOVING INTO THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE COUNTY BY 510 PM. RADAR INDICATES
THAT A TORNADO COULD OCCUR WITH THE PASSAGE OF THIS STORM. THE WORST
PART OF THE STORM WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTH LYME AND CHESTERFIELD BETWEEN
515 AND 530 PM AND INTO EAST LYME AND HAMBURG JUST AFTER 530 PM.
