THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  245 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE
 
   ...RUTHERFORD COUNTY...NORTHERN WILLIAMSON COUNTY
 
WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THAT WERE
OVER DAVIDSON COUNTY WERE SLIPPING INTO NORTHERN WILLIAMSON COUNTY
AND INTO RUTHERFORD COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST
AT ABOUT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD PRODUCE LARGE HAIL.
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
