000 TTAA00 KMSP 140856 RRA SVRMSP MNC153-140930- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN MN 355 AM CDT FRI JUL 14 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TWIN CITIES/CHANHASSEN HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA ...TODD COUNTY AT 355 AM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS BEING DETECTED BY TWIN CITIES DOPPLER RADAR IN EASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTY JUST NORTH OF ALEXANDRIA. THE LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTEND TO THE NORTH OF ALEXANDRIA AND WERE MOVING TO THE EAST-NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 45 MILES AN HOUR. COMMUNITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM INCLUDE LONG PRAIRIE..EAGLE BEND...BROWERVILLE...LITTLE SAUK. MORRIS REPORTED WINDS NEAR 50 MPH WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM AS IT PASSED. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL... DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM. PEOPLE IN MOBILE HOMES SHOULD GO TO A STORM SHELTER.
