THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  430 AM CDT
FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS......
 
IN EAST ARKANSAS
 
   ...POINSETT COUNTY
 
AT 346 AM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING INTO
WESTERN POINSETT COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR
AND WILL MOVE THROUGH THE HARRISBURG AREA BETWEEN NOW AND 430 AM.
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LINTTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
