FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  330 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION   ...
 
IN SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY
 
   ...CLAY COUNTY
 
...FLOODING IS OCCURING IN CLAY COUNTY... BETWEEN 1 AND 1.15 PM...NEALY
ONE HALF INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE BIG CREEK AREA WHICH IS 21 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF HAZARD. MANCHESTER POLICE REPORTED THAT FLOODING IS
OCCURING IN THE BURNING SPRINGS AREA...WHICH IS 34 MILES WEST OF HAZARD.
WATER HAS ALSO BEEN REPORTED OVER THE ROAD AT THE JUNCTIONS OF HWYS 2076
AND 687 JUST WEST OF THE CITY OF MANCHESTER.
 
MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
