000 TTAA00 KILN 090447 FFWILN OHC113-135-090900- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON OH 1242 AM EDT WED AUG 9 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 500 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO ...MONTGOMERY COUNTY...PREBLE COUNTY THE FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS FOR PREBLE AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES IN THE MIAMI VALLEY HAVE BEEN EXTENDED. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS HAVE BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPIRE. OFFICIALS AND SEVERE WEATHER SPOTTERS IN THOSE COUNTIES CONTINUE TO REPORT THAT MANY ROADS ARE COVERED BY WATER AND ARE IMPASSABLE. THEREFORE...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS FOR PREBLE AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES HAVE BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 5 AM. THE STORMS MAY STILL PRODUCE WINDS TO 45 MILES AN HOUR AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS AS THEY EXIT THE COUNTIES TO THE SOUTH. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DjANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
