000 TTAA00 KILN 090220 FFWILN OHC149-090515- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILMINGTON OH 1018 PM EDT TUE AUG 8 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WILMINGTON HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 115 AM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN WEST CENTRAL OHIO ...SHELBY COUNTY AT 1017 PM EDT DOPPLER RADAR AND SATILLITE ESTIMATES OF RAINFALL ARE TOTALING UP TO THREE AND THIRD (3.33) INCHES HAS OCCURRED SINCE EARLIER THIS EVENING. LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED EVACUATIONS IN SIDNEY OHIO WITH NUMEROUS ROAD CLOSURES. DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED VERY SLOW MOVING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS STILL OCCURRING FROM SIDNEY TO PORT JEFFERSON. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED... ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
