IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS ...SOUTHERN BRAZORIA COUNTY AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS AT 502 PM...A TORNADIC THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED JUST WEST OF FREEPORT AND MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH. THIS STORM WILL BE MOVING THROUGH FREEPORT BY 530 PM...AND OFFSHORE BY 6 PM. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO... SEEK SHELTER IN AN INTERIOR ROOM... SUCH AS A CLOSET OR HALLWAY ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID WINDOWS FAND PROTECT YOUR BODY FROM FLYING DEBRIS WITH CUSHIONS... BLANKETS... OR PILLOWS.

CURRENT SFC ANALYSIS SHOWS LOW OVER E CNTRL TX (JUST NE OF CLL) WEAKENING WITH A MUCH STRONGER SFC LOW DEVELOPING ALONG S TX COAST NEAR CRP/VCT AREA. A TROF OF LOW PRES EXTENDS FM THIS COASTAL LOW INTO SE TX. MODERATE LLJ PRODUCING RELATIVELY GOOD SHEAR AND GOOD MOIST FLUX CONVG OVER AREA. SVR STORMS POPPING WITH MUCH HAIL REPORTED AND SEEING GOOD MESO ROTATION ON MOST STORMS. BELIEVE THIS LOW WILL TRACK RIGHT UP THE TX COAST AND INTO LA/MS COAST BY EARLY EVENING. COULD BE OUT OF OUR AREA BY 1ST PERIOD BUT WILL STAY WITH POPS HIGHER IN EAST AND LOWER IN NW. ETA STILL MDL OF CHOICE WITH HIGH MOVG IN RATHER QUICKLY BEHIND THE FNT.
