SYNOPSIS:
A STRONG AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OVER NORTHWEST KANSAS WILL MOVE ACROSS
THE REGION TODAY.  THIS WILL PROVIDE A CHANCE FOR MORE THUNDERSTORMS.
SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY BECOME StEVERE DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.  THE
MAIN THREAT WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS...BUT AN ISOLATED
TORNADO CAN NOT BE RULED OUT.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED THIS AFTERNOON AND POSSIBLY EARLY
THIS EVENING.
