000 TTAA00 KGRI 271943 SVRGRI NEC143-185-272030- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HASTINGS NE 240 PM CDT SAT MAY 27 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HASTINGS NE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA ...WESTERN POLK COUNTY...WESTERN YORK COUNTY DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST SOUTHWEST OF BRADSHAW OR 10 MILES WEST OF YORK NEBRASKA MOVING NORTH AT 30 MILES AN HOUR TOWARD BRADSHAW AND TO THE NORTHWEST OF YORK. THE STORM WILL MOVE NEAR POLK BY 3PM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. SK/LEW

THIS WILL PROVIDE A CHANCE FOR MORE THUNDERSTORMS. SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY BECOME StEVERE DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
