THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...EDWARDS COUNTY
 
AT 1120 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM MOVING ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL EDWARDS COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS
APPROXIMATELY 18 MILES WEST OF BARKSDALE MOVING THE TO EAST AT 20 MPH.
 
PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD BE ALERT TO THE POSSIBILITY
OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.  FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAIN CAN OCCUR WITH ANY THUNDERSTORM.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX
925 PM CDT WED MAY 10 1995

WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE MOVED INTO THE DEL
RIO VICINITY THIS EVENING FROM MEXICO.  THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORM
WAS JUST 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE CITY OF DEL RIO AND MOVING
NORTHEAST AT NEAR 30 MPH.  THIS STORM COULD PRODUCE GUSTY
WINDS...HAIL...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AS IT MOVES TOWARD THE DEL RIO
AREA IN THE NEXT 30 MINUTES TO 1 HOUR.

OTHER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED OVER NORTHEAST EDWARDS
COUNTY AND NORTHERN MAVERICK COUNTY.  MOVE WAS GENERALLY NORTHEAST AT
NEAR 25 MPH.
