000 TTAA00 KMCI 280053 SVRMCI MOC101-280200- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY MO 752 PM CDT SAT MAY 27 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN KANSAS CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI ...JOHNSON COUNTY AT 752 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 20 MILES WEST OF WARRENSBURG OR 7 MILES WEST OF HOLDEN. IT WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH. HAIL LARGER THAN ONE INCH IS POSSIBLE. ANOTHER STRONG STORM WAS 5 MILES WEST OF PITTSVILLE AND WAS ALSO MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
