NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY MO 740 PM CDT SAT MAY 27 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN KANSAS CITY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI ...CASS COUNTY AT 740 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED 3 MILES EAST OF HARRISONVILLE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH. PEOPLE IN STRASBURG AND GUNN CITY ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM. HAIL ONE AND AN HALF INCHES IN DIAMETER IS POSSIBLE. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
