SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  330 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI
 
   ...JOHNSON COUNTY...LAFAYETTE COUNTY
 
AT 240 AM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER EASTERN
JACKSON COUNTY FROM OAK GROVE TO LONE JACK. THE STORM WAS ACCELERATING
TO THE EAST AT 50 MPH. THIS STORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS AS
IT MOVES INTO ODESSA BY 3 AM AND INTO THE WARRENSBURG AREA AROUND 315
AM. LARGE HAIL UP TO ONE INCH IN DIAMETER IS ALSO POSSIBLE.
 
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
