FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTHWEST GEORGIA
 
   ...NORTHERN LEE COUNTY...NORTHERN RANDOLPH COUNTY

AT 452 AM EST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED PERSISTANT
HEAVY RAINFALL WITH A FEW THUNDERSTORMS OVER PARTS OF WEST CENTRAL
GEORGIA. DURING THE PAST SEVERAL HOURS MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINS HAVE
OCCURED ACROSS SOUTHERN WEBSTER AND SUMTER COUNTIES AND NORTHERN
RANDOLPH...TERRELL AND LEE COUNTIES. MOVEMENT OF THE RAIN WAS SLOWLY TO
THE EAST AND NORTHEAST.
 
DOPPLER RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT TWO TO THREE INCHES
OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN ACROSS THIS AREA WITHIN THE LAST THREE HOURS.
THIS IS IN ADDITION TO THE 6 TO 10 INCHES THAT HAS ALREADY OCCURED
OVER THE PREVIOUS FEW DAYS.  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS EXPECTED THROUGH THE
REMAINDER OF THE MORNING HOURS.  THUS...PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD
REMAIN ALERT FOR ADDITIONAL FLASH FLOODING POTENTIAL.
 
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
