FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  900 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...S...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA

AUTOMATED RAIN GAGES WERE REPORTING RAINFALL AMOUNTS FROM 0.75 INCHES TO
1.25 INCHES IN THE LAST THREE HOURS. WEATHER RADAR ALSO SHOWED THAT
AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE ALREADY SATURATED
GROUND FOR THE NEXT 2 TO 3 HOURS. MINOR FLOODING OF CREEKS AND STREAMS
IS EXPECTED AS RUNOFF FILLS THE STREAMS.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
