AT 832 PM...INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE OVER PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL IOWA. THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE LOCATED IN A 20 MILE WIDE AREA CENTERED FROM 45 MILES NORTHWEST OF DES MOINES...NEAR JEFFERSON TO 30 MILES WEST OF WATERLOO...NEAR ACKLEY. THESE STORMS ARE CABABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND FLOODING RAINFALL.
