000 TTAA00 KDDC 092330 TORDDC KSC097-151-100000- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 630 PM CDT SAT APR 9 1994 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS ...EASTERN KIOWA COUNTY...WESTERN PRATT COUNTY AT 628 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED TWO TORNADOES...ONE ABOUT 4 MILES EAST OF GREENSBURG AND ANOTHER 5 MILES WEST OF BELVIDERE OR 13 MILES SOUTHEAST OF GREENSBURG. THE TORNADOES WERE MOVING EAST/NORTHEAST AT 45 MILES AN HOUR AND SHOULD BE IN THE BELVIDERE AREA BY 635 PM AND NEAR CROFT IN PRATT COUNTY BY 645 PM. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM. ACT QUICKLY. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE... GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE. AVOID WINDOWS.
