TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  500 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS
 
   ...NORTHWEST MEADE COUNTY
 
AT 427 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A DEVELOPING TORNADO 8 MILES WEST OF
PLAINS OR 20 MILES NORTHEAST OF LIBERAL.  THE STORM WAS MOVING
EAST/NORTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR.  THE TORNADO WILL BE NORTH OF PLAINS
AND WEST OF MISSLER BY 445 PM.
 
THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN THE
PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE... GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A
STURDIER BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.
