AT 1115 AM THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING RAPIDLY ACROSS THE SOUTH PLAINS OF WEST TEXAS. THESE STORMS WERE INCREASING IN INTENSITY ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN...GENERALLY SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY SURFACE WINDS. PEA TO GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED IN THE COMMUNITY OF PLAINVIEW AT 1115 AM. THE AIRMASS OVER WEST TEXAS IS VERY UNSTABLE AND UNSETTLED. THIS SEVERE WEATHER SITUATION IS EXPECTED TO DETERIORATE THAN GET BETTER AS THE DAY PROGRESSES. STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR YOU(R LOCAL TV FOR UPDATES ON THIS SEVERE WEATHER SITUATION.
