000 TTAA00 KLBB 291926 TORLBB TXC303-292000- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LUBBOCK TX 124 PM CST MON MAR 29 1993 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LUBBOCK HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 200 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST TEXAS ...LUBBOCK COUNTY AT 124 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO DEVELOPING OVER WESTERN LUBBOCK COUNTY NEAR CARLISLE. GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL WAS REPORTED WITH THIS STORM NEAR REESE AIR FORCE BASE AND NEAR CARLISLE. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. PEOPLE IN LUBBOCK SHOULD TAKE PROTECTIVE ACTION. AT 1115 AM THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING RAPIDLY ACROSS THE SOUTH PLAINS OF WEST TEXAS. THESE STORMS WERE INCREASING IN INTENSITY ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN...GENERALLY SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY SURFACE WINDS.
