IN NORTHWEST TEXAS ...LAMB COUNTY AT 744 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 3 MILES NORTH OF SUDAN. ANOTHER POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS INDICATED ABOUT 4 MILES SOUTHEAST OF SPRINGLAKE. TORNADOES WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A WORKBENCH OR PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. AT 325 PM CDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICTAED NO PRECIPITATION OCCURRING OVER THE SOUTH PLAINS. HOWEVER...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING IN EASTERN NEW MEXICO SOUTHWARD INTO SOUTHWEST TEXAS.
