...A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CDT FOR THE WESTERN HALF
OF THE SOUTH PLAINS...

AT 325 PM CDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICTAED NO PRECIPITATION
OCCURRING OVER THE SOUTH PLAINS. HOWEVER...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
WERE DEVELOPING IN EASTERN NEW MEXICO SOUTHWARD INTO SOUTHWEST
TEXAS. STORM MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 10-20 MPH.

REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR
TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND NEAR THE WATCH AREA.
