000 TTAA00 KMSP 290224 SVRMSP MNC085-143-171-290315- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MINNEAPOLIS MN 925 PM CDT TUE MAY 28 1991 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MINNEAPOLIS HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1015 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA ...MCLEOD COUNTY...SIBLEY COUNTY...WRIGHT COUNTY AT 920 PM WEATHER RADAR INDICATED THE LEADING EDGE OF A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS FROM WATKINS AND DARWIN IN MEEKER COUNTY TO BUFFALO LAKE IN RENVILLE COUNTY. THIS LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WAS 50 MILES WEST OF DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS. WEATHER RADAR SHOWED THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING EAST AT 35 MILES PER HOUR. SOME CITIES IN THE PATH OF THIS LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS INCLUDE ANNANDALE..HUTCHINSON..WINTHROP. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUhCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
