THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY
IN THE CENTRAL PART OF KANSAS
BARTON
AT 503 PM CDT A TORNADO WAS SIGHTED BY THE PUBLIC 5 MILE WEST
AND ONE SOUTH OF ALBERT OR ABOUT 12 WEST OF GREAT BEND. THE
TORNADO WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
THIS TORNADO WAS ON THE GROUND AND CAUSING DAMAGE. ALL PEOPLE
NEAR THIS DANGEROUS STORM SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY. FIND
SHELTER BELOW GROUND LEVEL...IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.
