THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 600 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF KANSAS
      ELLSWORTH

AT 511 PM CDT A TORNADO WAS REPORTED BY THE GREAT BEND POLICE
DEPARTMENT 1 MILE SOUTH AND 1 MILE WEST OF CLAFLIN OR 15 MILES
NORTHEAST OF GREAT BEND.  THIS TORNADO WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT
20 MPH AND WILL BE IN THE HOLYROOD AREA BY 525 PM CDT.

THIS TORNADO WAS ON THE GROUND AND CAUSING DAMAGE.  ALL PEOPLE
NEAR THIS DANGEROUS STORM SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.  FIND
SHELTER BELOW GROUND LEVEL...IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.
