THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1030 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES

   IN THE NORTHEAST PART OF NEBRASKA
      EASTERN MADISON...STANTON

AT 940 PM CDT NORFOLK RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
FROM 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF NORFOLK TO 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF
NORFOLK.  MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 20 MPH.

THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM WHICH IS LIKELY PRODUCING LARGE
DAMAGING HAIL.

PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A STRONG
BUILDING.  FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE
LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS QUICKLY FLOOD
ROADWAYS...DO NOT DRIVE INTO WATER COVERED ROADWAYS.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE FOR
DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE
SHOULD MOVE TO SHELTER...PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.  ONCE
INSIDE...STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

 A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE SOUTHERN HALF
 OF NORTHEAST NEBRASKA AND A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR
 ALL OF NORTHEAST NEBRASKA TONIGHT.
