THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY

   IN THE SOUTHEAST PART OF KANSAS
      NORTHERN BOURBON

AT 3:30 PM RADAR SHOWED A VERY INTENSE THUNDERTORM OVER
NORTHEASTERN ALLEN COUNTY...4 MILES EAST OF IOLA. THIS STORM
IS CONTINUING TO INTENSIFY AND WILL BE MOVING INTO NORTHERN
BOURBON COUNTY WITHIN THE NEXT 10 MINUTES.

THE THUNDERSTORM IS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR.

 IF YOU ARE IN AN AREA THREATENED BY THE STORM...GO TO A
REINFORChED SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...
VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND LIGHTNING.

 REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND DO OCCASIONALLY DO
PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. BE ON THE
